Once Upon A Time…
Just kidding, this is real life, my life. 27 years ago I started my beauty industry journey. I initially started as a Nail Technician subsidizing my income while also attending college in Texas.

Sadly, my mother fell ill and I returned home to Colorado to be with her in her final days. After her passing I immersed myself in salon life in Cherry Creek North. I began as a receptionist and then quickly moved into salon management. I was immediately drawn to the amazing talent the stylists had at not only making hairstyling an art form, but also the way they boosted their clients self esteem. Making someone’s day selfishly fills my heart of hearts…And I knew beauty service was going to be a huge part of my life to come.

Using what I learned from watching and assisting I started doing “Kitchen Hair” on those friends brave enough to let me! Not ready to commit to school as I was still trying to heal from the devastating loss of my mother, I moved into the Makeup Artist/Skincare Specialist role for Shiseido and began living that retail life where I remained for some time.

Shortly after the birth of my daughter I decided I was ready to return to school and there I realized my true passion. I received deep satisfaction when I was able to utilize my skills to make others feel amazing about themselves. (It also gave me the creative outlet my life had been lacking.) I graduated from cosmetology school 14 years ago ago and have since worked in all types of salon atmospheres, each teaching me more about myself, my craft, and my dreams as a professional stylist.

I’m incredibly proud to announce as of May of 2021 I opened my own Sola Salon Suite in Arvada, Colorado, and I am now in business for myself!! I cant wait for you to see how comfortable my space is.. a space where all are welcome and safe. Your hair happiness is my heart’s content! KEEP CALM AND LET ME DO YOUR HAIR!
